An agitated Krishna says, “I am so angry with bauji that I don’t know what I will do next. I feel Iam going to burst with anger. My family will be ridiculed now.I would have shot Ganga if Pratigya hadn’t stopped me – I was that angry. And I would have been right as she is the bone of contention.”
A stunned Pratigya claims, “Bauji has hurt not just the honour of his own family but his wife -the most. Aama has been with him through thick and thin, good and bad and now when they should be spending time together and playing with their grandkid, he goes and does this. It is shameful. That too marrying a young girl like Ganga, who is only 17, it is blasphemous. I will do something and find a way out. I will not be at peace till I find a solution.”
Amma can’t help but cry over the situation. “After all that I have done for him, after suffering at his hands and yet staying with him, bearing him sons – yet he has humiliated me like this. This is an insult of enormous proportion. I don’t understand his reasons behind marrying her. She isn’t pretty or rich – just young. I can’t do anything to him except wring my hands and express my frustrations but the first chance I get I will take my anger out on her (Ganga) for sure. She will not escape me.”
