Nokia N8: Creating cool content winners!

ust over a week ago, we asked you to come up with the coolest ideas you could think of to record on a Nokia N8 and pitch them to us for an opportunity to win a trial Nokia N8 kit to film your idea!


We received some really creative entries which all had their own unique appeal and angle. Unfortunately we could only pick 5 winners but we’d like to say a big thanks to everyone who took the time to enter :)
So, who are our winners I hear you ask! Well, take a look below at 5 of the coolest videos we hope to see them create. Here’s what we have to look forward to:

We can’t wait to see Joao Luis Sky Diving with a Nokia N8. That may well be a first for the device!

Tropical storm Beryl makes landfall on US coast

The weather system was expected to continue dumping rain over parts of Florida and Georgia. Tropical Storm Beryl made landfall early Monday in northeast Florida, bringing drenching rains and driving winds to the southeastern U.S. coast, forecasters said. The National Hurricane Center in Miami reported that Beryl made landfall over Duval and northern St. John s counties, with near-hurricane-strength winds of 70 mph (113 kph). "There are strong rain bands that are rotating around the center of the storm..." forecaster Al Sandrik said in an audio statement on the NHC website. The weather system was expected to continue dumping rain over parts of Florida and Georgia on Monday. It was expected to weaken as it moves inland and become a tropical depression by Monday night.
