Madonna has romantic 53rd birthday celebration


Madonna celebrated her 53rd birthday with 24-year-old French break dancer Brahim Zaibat.The couple was photographed kissing on the beach in the Hamptons, New York, while Madonna s children David and Mercy played in the sand nearby wearing helmets.Zaibat recently opened up about meeting the singer, telling the British newspaper the Daily Mail, "It wasn t like meeting a monster! She s just a woman like all the others. She s an extraordinary artist and world famous, of course, but a woman above all."The pop star has been linked to Zaibat since last year, after he performed at the launch of Madonna s clothing line at Macy s in New York, following her split
from Brazilian model Jesus Luz, who is also 24. In June, the two were spotted kissing during a romantic Paris vacation, just weeks after reports of a breakup. The two have not commented and have also never confirmed a relationship. People magazine called him Madonna s "reported beau." Several news outlets said that the two had broken up in May.
The Daily Mail reported at the time that the couple called it quits because Zaibat s Muslim family did not want him going to Kabbalah meetings with Madonna.
The dancer s mother, who is eight years younger than Madonna, told the paper about her reaction upon hearing about the relationship, "My mouth fell open. Madonna was already a big star when I was a schoolgirl, let alone when Brahim was growing up. The whole situation is very strange indeed - surreal even."
