Just days after Kate Winslet was praised for saving Richard Branson s mother from his Caribbean house inferno, Brad Pitt is reported to have come to the rescue of an extra on the set of his upcoming movie, "World War Z".The drama unravelled when a woman stumbled to the ground during the filming of a chaotic scene for the post-apocalyptic horror film in George Square in Glasgow, Scotland. Before she got trampled by the others, however, the Lt Aldo Raine of "Inglourious Basterds" picked her up and helped her back to her feet. "It was total chaos as 700 extras were trying to get down the street - they were banging into moving cars, cameras and military
who were carrying heavy machine guns," a set source told The Scottish Sun. "Lots of people hurt themselves, and Brad came to the rescue of a woman who slipped.""I don t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up. He didn t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot," the insider continued. "But she said afterward how grateful she was, despite having a badly-grazed knee." The woman wasn t the only extra hurt during the filming. "Loads of extras suffered bumps and scrapes during the battle scene," so claimed the source.
It was also mentioned that Brad didn t only save the woman, but also worried about the safety of the others. The insider said, "The director [Marc Forster] and Brad are slightly concerned about the amount of injuries we re racking up. They re urging everyone to be as careful as possible. There was a big health and safety talk saying too many people were being injured."
