5 Childhood Memories that you’ll never forget

Your first kiss? The best summer holiday you ever had? Or wanting to go and see your favourite band but being told you were too young? We all have childhood memories that are special to us for one reason or another.
This got us thinking about our Nokia childhood memories, before we knew it we had another Nseries top 5 on our hands!

1. Playing Snake on your old Nokia mobile

Not just playing Snake but desperately trying to beat your old high score, and just when you thought you’d got over the addiction, Snake 2 came out…

2. The 3210

For some, it was the 5100 series, others the 8210, but there was no denying that the 3210 took our hearts at one point or another. Announced in 1999, this 151g device had 10 volume levels and a whopping 3 hours of talk time. It was also the first Nokia device to feature an internal aerial.
3. That ringtone

You know the one, de de der der de de der der de de derrr derr derr. Ok, so it sounds better actually listening to it but it isn’t easy writing out a ringtone. In fact, we’d like to hear your attempt at writing it out! :)
4. Facias/Faceplates

They were all the rage back in the day. Available from just about every retailer, you could get fascias that would slide, flip and light up , and in every conceivable colour as well!

5. The Matrix Phone

Otherwise known as the Nokia 7110, it gained status as the ‘Matrix phone’ after appearing in the Matrix in 1999. Not only that but it was the first phone to have a ‘Navi Roller’ interface and a WAP browser!

That’s our Nseries top 5 list. Whether you were besotted by the 7110’s slider or more of a 3210 geek, we’d love to know what your childhood memories were!

The weather system was expected to continue dumping rain over parts of Florida and Georgia on Monday. It was expected to weaken as it moves inland and become a tropical depression by Monday night. Tropical storm warnings were in effect for the entire Georgia coastline, as well as parts of Florida and South Carolina. Florida Gov. Rick Scott urged Florida residents in the affected areas to "stay alert ...

Don't count on Russia to force out Assad: US senator

"This administration has a feckless foreign policy which abandons American leadership," McCain said. The U.S. can t count on Russia a major arms supplier to Syria to force President Bashar Assad from power, a U.S. senator said Sunday, blaming President Barack Obama for embracing a "feckless" foreign policy and punting tough decisions until after the November election. It was a particularly sharp rebuke for Sen. John McCain, who as a longtime critic of Obama s foreign policy hasn t pulled many punches. As the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, McCain s viewpoint on complex world events often finds its way into Republican election-year talking points. "This administration has a feckless foreign policy which abandons American leadership," McCain told "Fox News Sunday." "What the conclusion you can draw is that this president wants to kick the can down the road on all of these issues until after the election ... it s really...
